  15. I have a Quicktel 28.8 modem and a Quadra 605 Mac. I use MacPPP with 
  16. Netscape.  The service I use  provides a 28.8 connection.  Frequently 
  17. when I am using Netscape or am connected to another URL the screen 
  18. freezes and I get a prompt indicating that there has been "echo 
  19. failure".

  21. I have experimented with the"echo interval" setting on the MacPPP 
  22. changing it on every setting between off and 20 seconds.  Is there any 
  23. way  I can remedy this "echo failure" problem.  Any assistance or advice 
  24. would be greatly appreciated.
